2025-26 MYC Winter Hoops

Register here for MYC's 2025-26 Winter Hoops season!

Who: Boys + Girls - grades 1st-11th
Divisions: Boys: 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, 7th-8th A, 7th-8th CBA, 9th-11th | Girls: 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, 7th-9th
When: November 2025 - March 2026
Cost: $145 per player ($135 for 1-2nd grades)
1 practice + 1 game per week, as well as game shirt included with registration fee
Locations: MYC, MPFS, Media Elem., Rose Tree Elem. Penn State Brandywine

Join us for MYC's biggest program of the year - Winter Hoops! Our recreational Winter League is a great place for novice, intermediate, and experienced basketball players to enjoy a season of competition & fun!

Before each season, we host Evaluations for grades 3rd-11th - both boys + girls - just to get a sense of each player's basketball abilities. These will take place Nov2rd - Nov 24 the schedule Will be available on our website by Sunday September 28th (mediayouthcenter.com). Following Evaluations, we hold Drafts where Coaches select their teams. Drafts will be Nov 13th-25th, and team assignment info will be sent out within one week of each Draft.

We are always looking for new Coaches, so please sign up if you're interested! Additionally, we can use all the help we can get with the snackbar, so please consider volunteering to help with that while you complete your registration.

MYART CLASS November 2025

Sign up here for MYC's 2025 November MYArt Class!

MYArt Class will be a 4-week course than includes a variety of painting, drawing, oil pastel, chalk pastel, and printmaking. Children will learn about artists, art history, and art techniques, and will complete a project using this newly acquired knowledge.

Dates: TUESDAYS NOVEMBER NOVEMBER 4TH,11TH,18TH,25TH
Time: 6p-7p
Cost: $80 for the course
Ages: Grades K-5
Location: MYC LEARNING CENTER 26 EAST 4TH STREET (2nd floor)

2025 fall MYC After School Enrichment

The Lewis "Jumbo" Johnson After School Enrichment Program!

Cost: FREE!
Grades: 1st-5th
Sessions: 4p-5:30p Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday
Duration: week of September22nd - week of Dec 15th
Location: Strine Learning Center (2nd floor of MYC)
Purpose: to provide extra help in Math &/or Reading, + 20 minutes of free play in MYC gym

*Sessions will be capped at 10 students each*
