Lewis Jumbo Johnson MYC Fall Basketball Clinics
Grades: k-2nd Coed Mondays at Media Youth Center 6-7 0r 7-8pm September 15th to Oct 13th
3rd-4th Boys Tuesdays 6-7pm From September 16th to October 14th
5th-6th Boys Tuesdays 7-8pm From September 16th to October 14th
3rd-4th Girls Wednesdays 6-7pm September 17th to October 15th

Clinic Consist of 5 one hour sessions run by basketball staff that have High School and College basketball Coaching experience
Players will work on Dribbling, passing,shooting, one on one moves, and defense.

Saturday Morning Games 2025

SATURDAY MORNING GAMES ARE FOR KIDS IN 4-6TH GRADE.
KIDS WILL PLAY, HOCKEY,BASKETBALL,KICKBALL, TOUCH FOOTBALL, DODEGEBALL, WHIFFLEBALL ETC.
WHEN: 9-11 AM ON SATURDAY MORNINGS FROM SEPTEMBER 13th TO OCTOBER 11TH.

2025 MYC Lego Robotics

2025 MYC Robotics

First meetings for each team will be the week of September 15h.

Volunteers are needed as Team Mentors for our upcoming season. Please email [email protected] if interested.

About MYC's Robotics Program:
The FIRST Lego Program While participating in the First Lego League, kids will discover the fun of science and technology by working together in teams to investigate existing real world problems that surround the themed challenge. Participants research and offer solutions by designing, building, and programming autonomous robots using Lego Models.
  • First Lego League: Discover - PreK-1st (ages 4-6) - one Mentor per 6 team members - $175
  • First Lego League: Explore - 2nd-4th (ages 7-9) - one Mentor per 6 team members - - $210
  • First Lego League: Challenge - 5th-8th (ages 10-15) - one Mentor per 8 team members -- $245

Payment Due: Full payment is due for accepted team members no later than Sept 19th

*Note: Our teams are in need of Lead Mentor & Assistant Mentor volunteers. Please contact [email protected] for questions. Lead Mentors will receive support but will be in charge of coordinating their team. No experience is necessary!

Teams will start meeting the week of September 15 th and will meet through January. We will Have a Showcase at MYC in Early January. Each team meets for one session per week for approximately 1.5-2 hours. Teams may schedule additional time.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU REGISTER -- IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTICE:  Registration is open to the public; however, participants of MYC's robotics programs from the prior season are given priority in placement on teams. Remaining, open spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve registration basis. We do have a wait list activated. You should choose the wait list if given the option in order to maintain your spot "in line" for registration.

NEW PARTICIPANTS -- prior to the start of the season you will receive a confirmation email to let you know if we can add you to the team of your choice. If the team you choose at registration is full with returning members, we will offer you to be transferred to a different team, if space is available.

2025 fall MYC After School Enrichment

The Lewis "Jumbo" Johnson After School Enrichment Program!

Cost: FREE!
Grades: 1st-5th
Sessions: 4p-5:30p Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday
Duration: week of September22nd - week of Dec 15th
Location: Strine Learning Center (2nd floor of MYC)
Purpose: to provide extra help in Math &/or Reading, + 20 minutes of free play in MYC gym

*Sessions will be capped at 10 students each*
